Visa Free Travel With The Greece Golden Visa

VISA-FREE TRAVEL WITH THE GREECE GOLDEN VISA RESIDENCE PERMIT

Upon completing your real estate investment in Greece and submitting your Golden Visa application, you and all included family members must travel to Greece to provide biometric data and fingerprints. Following this step, the issuance of the Greece Golden Visa residence card typically takes between four to six months.

Once you obtain the Golden Visa residence permit, you are entitled to reside in Greece without any time restrictions and travel freely within the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

As Greece is a Schengen Area member state, holders of the Greece Golden Visa automatically acquire visa-free access to other Schengen countries without the need for additional travel authorization.

Following the completion of the property acquisition and the submission of the Golden Visa application, the Greek authorities issue a temporary document known as the "white card." This document allows applicants to enter Greece without a visa for the purpose of completing their biometric data submission, even before the official residence permit is issued. However, the white card does not grant access to other Schengen countries and remains valid only until the Golden Visa residence card is received.
